I'm indian and this was so comforting :') Nothing hits the same as a warm bowl of congee (or kanji, as i call it) when you're sick

As a Chinese player, I feel a warmth after playing this game. I also do love my mother's skinny egg and meat porridge very much, it is sold outside in takeaways, but no skinny egg and meat porridge is better than my mother's. She made it not only delicious in flavor, but also the taste of home. I love her.

just finished playing it and i loved it <33 i resonate a lot with food being a love language and a form of bonding, and congee is quite similar to one of my local comfort foods! thank you for sharing this <33 (but oh no it's making me crave food in the middle of the night) KUDOS!!!

Oh no way! I moved from Hong Kong to the UK about a year ago for university, and this reminds me of the time when I was feeling a bit sick and made congee for myself. Rice cookers are really life savers in this situation. I really loved this though, and there's a strange joy in realising that there are other people who find the same things weird about the UK as me.
